"We didn't start the fire", es un tema que compuso Billy Joel en 1989, y es uno de mis temas aleatorios preferido. Aunque no lo crean, me lo sé de memoria (llevó años aprenderlo). Hace referencia a eventos que fueron contemporáneos a su existencia en el mundo entero, positivos y negativos, y que de algún modo lo signaron -a él, y al mundo-. Parado él en la generacion setentista (nació en 1949), su prédica es "No comenzamos el fuego", refrán que en inglés existe, que significa "no nos culpen, el quilombo venía de antes", en obvia alusión a la generación previa, que les endilgaba todos los males del mundo, y ninguna de las bondades.
Los peronistas, además, hallarán una joyita.
